How It Started Top Tier Cycles started with me as broke college freshman wanting a "fast" bike to ride to class. After some inexperienced and sporadic shopping, I realized how inflated retail could be and the value in buying second-hand. A Mongoose mountain bike off of Craigslist for $35 offered a short term solution (and a ride to class.) But more importantly, it sparked an idea.

One bike purchase led to another, the bikes got nicer, and a mission arose to provide the value for others that I had found for myself. Fast forward 15 years and Top Tier Cycles has grown into a very fulfilling niche. Our team works almost exclusively with high end road bikes, offering top quality rides at values that make sense.
